Tend

Terms of Use

Effective August 26, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Tend mobile app and this website, both operated by Profound Bytes (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Tend, you agree to them.

Your account

You sign in with a Google or Apple account, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure — anyone who can sign in to it can reach your Tend data. You must be 13 or older to use Tend. One person, one account; don’t share an account with someone else.

Your content belongs to you

The goals, tasks, and notes you write in Tend are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them only to operate the app for you — including sending the text you type to an AI service provider to be classified and scheduled, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Tend to break the law, to store or distribute someone else’s private information without their consent, or to attack the service — that includes attempting to reach other users’ data, circumventing rate limits or quotas, automating abusive volumes of requests, or probing the service for vulnerabilities without permission. We may suspend or terminate an account that does these things.

Availability

Tend is provided as-is. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and features may change or be removed. We may need to take the service down for maintenance. If we discontinue Tend entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a way to take your data with you before we do.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate: your goals, tasks, and history are removed and cannot be recovered. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, usually with notice where practical.

Liability

Tend is a planning tool, not professional advice — it does not provide medical, legal, or financial guidance, and you remain responsible for your own decisions. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from your use of Tend is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we’ll update this page with a new effective date and give notice in the app. Continuing to use Tend after that means you accept the updated terms.
