Every other app hands you a list and leaves the hard part to you. Tend opens with an answer: this, now.
Anything with a time sits at its time. Everything else fills the gaps, in the order that matters — and the order is Tend’s job, not yours. Open the app, look at the top, start.
Two things a card can be doing:
A fire glows where it sits. Your day never rearranges itself into a wall of alarms.
“Pay the electricity bill on the 5th of every month.” “Physio three times a week.” Type it the way you’d say it. Tend works out what it is, where it belongs, and when it’s next due, then shows you before saving.
Already did something? Say that instead, and it goes on the record.
Everything you add attaches to something you care about, so a day’s work always adds up to more than a day.
Levels you up. Set the hours you want to put in; Tend counts what you’ve invested.
“Run a marathon” · “Learn Spanish”Keeps the lights on. No hours to hit — it tracks how consistently you show up.
“Stay fit” · “Home”Most apps quietly roll yesterday into today so the list looks clean. Tend doesn’t. If something has been slipping, you get to see that it has — that’s the whole point of looking.
Tend shows you where your time actually went, which of your goals you’ve been feeding, and which you’ve been avoiding. Then you decide what to drop, what to slow down, and what deserves more. It closes after a couple of days, so it stays a moment rather than another list.
